00 — DAMBL

A photography studio that lives in the Shopify product page.

Dambl reads the images already attached to a product, takes instructions about subject, scene, lens and framing, and returns finished photographs to the same listing.

IN SHORT

It starts from the photographs already on the product. Nothing is uploaded and nothing leaves the admin.

You state the subject, the set, the lens and the ratios. The plan is written before a credit is spent.

Finished photographs come back as separate files, written to the product’s media when you keep them.

01 — WORK

Six sessions, start to finish.

The sources the merchant already had, the instructions the session was given, and every frame it returned.

H01 Heavyweight Hoodie

Two flat supplier photographs. The listing needed worn views that agreed with each other, plus one construction frame close enough to show the rib.

Loop 01 Tug Toy

Pet products are bought on use and on strength. The toy geometry was fixed in the instruction so every frame shows one rope loop, one knot and one ball.

02 — HOW IT WORKS

Five steps, all inside the admin.

No separate tool to learn and no export step.

STEPS
01

Open a product

Dambl sits in the Shopify admin next to your other apps. Opening it shows your catalogue, not an empty workspace.

02

Pick the source photographs

The images already attached to the product are listed. Select the ones the session should read. A front and a back is usually enough.

03

Set the four controls

As you change them the plan underneath rewrites, naming every photograph the session will return and the shape it will be.

04

Press once

The credit cost is on the button. The session runs in a queue; closing the tab does not cancel it.

05

Review, then keep what works

The returned set opens at full size. Re-shoot a single frame if it is wrong, then write the ones you keep to the product's media.

CONTROLS
A

Subject

Whether the product is photographed alone or worn, and whether the same person appears in every frame.

product only / same model / same hands
B

Set

The surface and surroundings. A seamless studio sweep, or a room the product would plausibly sit in.

grey studio / white sweep / interior / outdoor
C

Lens

How close the camera stands and how much of the scene it takes in. Named the way a photographer speaks, not in millimetres.

fisheye / ultra wide / wide / normal / macro
D

Ratios

The output shape of each photograph, chosen per shot rather than for the whole set.

Everything a session returns stays tied to the product it was shot from, at full resolution.

PRODUCT MEDIA

Selected photographs are written to the listing. Nothing is written until you confirm.

LIMITS

It cannot see what the source does not show

Hidden sides and small printed text are inferred. Where a face of the product matters, give it a source photograph.

It is not a retoucher

Dambl produces new photographs. It does not clean up, colour correct or composite an existing image.

Regulated detail needs checking

Ingredient panels, certifications and safety markings must be verified against the physical product before publishing.

One store at a time

The app is installed per store. Each store installs and subscribes on its own.

03 — PRICING

One credit buys one photograph.

BILLED THROUGH SHOPIFY

FREE6 creditsFree

A first look. Enough credits to see what a session returns before paying for one.

STARTER100 credits$29 a month

A single store keeping a small catalogue current. About 12 full sessions a month.

PRO300 credits$69 a month

A store shooting new products every week, or a catalogue being rebuilt. About 37 full sessions a month.

INSTALL

Dambl installs from your Shopify admin. Enter your store domain and Shopify will ask you to approve the permissions before anything is charged.

CREDITS
A credit is one photographNot one session. Six photographs cost six credits whether they take one attempt or several.
Reserved, then spentA session reserves what its plan states when it starts and spends them as photographs are delivered.
A failed session costs nothingIf nothing comes back, every reserved credit returns to your balance.
A partial session charges what arrivedFour of six delivered means four credits spent and two released.
A re-shoot costs one creditUnless the original was technically broken, in which case the credit is returned.
Credits do not expireWhile the subscription is active. On cancellation they stay usable to the end of the paid period.

Full terms in Billing and refunds.

QUESTIONS

How am I billed?

Through Shopify Billing, on your normal Shopify invoice. We never see card details.

Can I change plan?

An upgrade takes effect immediately, a downgrade at the next billing period. Credits already in your balance are unaffected.

What happens if I cancel?

The subscription ends at the end of the paid period. Unused credits remain usable until then.

Is there a free trial?

Paid plans start with a 7-day free trial, and the free plan gives you 6 credits without a subscription. Trial credits behave the same way as paid credits.

Do prices include tax?

No. Shopify applies tax according to your store's location.

Do the photographs belong to me?

Yes. Clause 1.5 of the terms assigns them to you once their credits are paid, and we do not licence them to anyone else.
